So how do you install your rug pad?
That is easy. You usually want to order a pad that is slightly larger than the size you need, just trip it down to size with a pair of scissors being mindful not to mistakenly cut the rug or yourself. If the rug pad you selected is for a wall to wall carpeted surface then the pad will come with a double plastic film layer on it. First unfold the rug pad then lay the sticky side down onto the carpet, making sure to flatten it out. Then peel off the protective plastic layer on the top of the rug pad and carefully roll the rug over the top of the pad making sure to flatten out any creases in the rug. If the rug pad is too large for the rug, just trim it with scissors.
